What you can see

You can see what’s nice
Or what you may despise.
You can see the stars in the sky
Or the birds which fly so high.
But some things vanish so fast
So seize this day
While it lasts.
Close.
Close your eyes and try to find.
Find it.
You know you can’t cuz now you’re blind.
Nothing.
You close your eyes
You can smell spice.
You can feel me
You can hear the sea.
But
You can’t see the ones you love
Or the bright clouds up above.
You can’t see if your clothes match
Or if you’ve got your school badge.
You can still be what you want to be
But you can’t see.
So seize the day
When you can see.
